Featured Ravello Wedding - Sophisticated Weddings - Villa Eva, Ravello

Dino & Jess’ wedding took place in the small town of Ravello on the Amalfi Coast and truly was the perfect blend of outdoor elegance, Italian rustic charm and luxurious glamour. Villa Eva was their chosen venue, a magnificent villa in a late liberty style, set in an elevated position with sensational views over the coastline. The couple had decided on Villa Eva after having visited Ravello whilst travelling around Italy and with it being an exclusive-use property with magnificent views and spaces, it really was the perfect fit for their celebration.

The romantic ceremony took place in the beautifully tended gardens situated to the front of the Villa, which were picture perfect, featuring floral design by the very talented Armando Malafronte. With Dino’s Italian heritage, the vision for the whole wedding was to create a quintessential al fresco Italian atmosphere with lots of blooms and accents of mint, blush and gold.

The ceremony itself was beautifully personalised, showing appreciation for both cultures and was celebrated and curated by Carmela Cesarano.

Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed to the incredible ‘Belvedere Edge’ and enjoyed champagne cocktails and canapés, whilst admiring the breath-taking view over the coastline below. Then followed a large wedding banquet with the tables decorated with stunning floral centrepieces : pink, white and lush green arrangements of roses, peonies, astilbe, eucalyptus and olive branches, complimented by tall gold candelabras. A herb-garden table plan and bottles of personalised limoncello for guests were amongst the very personal touches adding to the magic of the wedding. Following the wedding breakfast the guests moved back outside to enjoy the rest of the evening, the cutting of the cake and drinks and dancing to a live band and DJ under the twinkling, magical lights of the trees in the outside gardens.

Jessica says,

We decorated the Villa grounds with lanterns, candlelit hanging spheres, candelabras and fairy lights wrapped and strewn around trees. Dancing until 5am with all of our favourite people has to be one of my favourite memories. We really didn’t want the day to end.
