Natalie & Adam, Sorrento wedding, Villa Antiche Mura, May 2017

On a beautiful spring day surrounded by their closest friends and family, Natalie and Adam made their wedding vows at the exquisite Villa Antiche Mura in Sorrento.

Villa Antiche Mura is an elegant villa situated in a cliff top position offering stunning views of the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, making it one of the most sought-after Villas for couples wanting to marry in the heart of Sorrento.

The day started with the bridal preparations in one of the most prestigious five-star hotels in the heart of Sorrento, The Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria. Whilst Jimena Puy, award winning hair and makeup artist, was working her magic with the bridal party the incredibly talented photographer JoAnne Dunn enjoyed some time with the groom and groom’s family in and around the grounds and stunning inside spaces of this beautiful hotel.

As guests arrived at Villa Antiche Mura they were wowed with its magical entrance that features a citrus grove garden complete with a vintage Vespa and Fiat 500, great for taking fun and authentic Italian themed photos. Walking up the steps of the Villa they were then greeted with the most spectacular vista over-looking the sea and stepped out on to the balcony and down the steps to the white Infinity Terrace, the most beautiful setting for their wedding ceremony.

The fabulous ceremony featured unity candles to symbolise two lives joining together as one and a harpist giving that extra element of romance.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed an abundant aperitif with prosecco, cocktails and a banquet of tasty Italian appetizers. It was a relaxing moment for the couple and gave some time for the guests to offer their congratulations and enjoy the incredible view.

Post aperitif, guests moved to the Red Infinity Terrace, where they were seated for a sumptuous feast of local Italian speciality dishes. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the newlyweds requested a giant panna cotta which certainly tasted as good as it looked! After enjoying the wonderful wedding banquet, guests were ready to dance the evening away to a great mix of songs played by the DJ. As a final surprise to their guests a traditional ice-cream cart was organised and everyone enjoyed an authentic Italian gelato!

Thanks once again to Natalie and Adam – a wonderful couple who have become good friends.
