Inspirational Italian Wedding Venues

If you are thinking about a wedding abroad and are unsure on which location to choose then you should definitely consider Italy’s beautiful Amalfi Coast! Made famous in the 1960s, this coastline was known for attracting Hollywood movie stars and few places in the world can exceed its spectacular charm with quiet bays, magnificent scenery and crystal blue seas. It really is easy to see why this setting is an increasingly popular wedding destination year on year!

We've put three of our popular wedding venues in the spotlight in three incredibly beautiful locations:

Sorrento:

Situated on a terrace overlooking the breath-taking Amalfi coastline, Sorrento is overflowing with charm. Pavement cafés and tucked-away antique and craft shops, boutique clothes shops, bustling piazzas; together with the fresh scent of orange and lemon trees have ensured a steady stream of visitors to the town throughout the year and over the centuries. Sorrento typifies Italy’s ‘La Dolce Vita’ and many people fall in love with its sun-drenched, rustic charm, bringing them back time and time again!

Villa Antiche Mura, Sorrento:

Offering a private, exclusive setting, with the most spectacular view of Vesuvius and the bay of Naples, Villa Antiche Mura offers a wedding venue that can be customised to suit your every need! Once a private residence, the Villa opened its doors in 2003 to the public and soon became an incredibly fashionable and popular choice for either an intimate wedding of a small group of friends and family, or a gala dinner for more than 100 guests! Optional extras available include fireworks or an ice cream cart to make the day even more memorable!

Ravello:

Sitting in an elevated position above Amalfi, Ravello is a peaceful and charming resort which retains an air of refined glamour and enchantment. Ravello is famous for its’ incredible views and well- tended gardens and offers an incredibly romantic setting for your perfect day.

Villa Eva:

Located next to the historical centre Villa Eva is a small jewel immersed in a vast 3000sqm park of centenary trees and thanks to its position (its roof is the highest point of Ravello) the villa enjoys a 360° view of the coast below. Exclusive use is available of the whole villa, gardens and terraces. Symbolic ceremonies can be held outside, in areas protected by large parasols and thick-set centenary plants, and inside in beautiful dining rooms with a sea view. Inside the grounds of the villa is an outside bar with a wood stove, making it an excellent location for a late night pizza party for you and your wedding guests!

Positano:

Positano is a small picturesque town with outstanding coastal views. Naturally beautiful, Positano attracts thousands of visitors every year. John Steinbeck visited in 1953 and wrote in an article for Harper’s Bazaar: Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone.

Rada Restaurant:

Rada Restaurant, not far from the lively streets and fashion boutiques that have made
Positano famous all over the world, is situated on the beach of Marina Grande and offers one of the most exclusive settings for your special day. The decor is refined; white tones stand out in elegant soft furnishings with sophisticated details that evoke the sea, coupled with romantic lighting gives an incredible atmosphere and perfect setting for more intimate wedding receptions. The restaurant offers customisable menus, composed of fine Mediterranean cuisine and fine wines, all sweetened by the delicious creations of their masters in fine pastry.
