Chanelle and Tom, Sorrento Wedding, Villa Antiche Mura, August 2017
Chanelle and Tom were married on a very hot and sunny August day in Sorrento surrounded by a large number of family and friends who had all made the trip to Italy to share their special day. Their ceremony took place in the tranquil and pretty gardens of the Museo Correale, with musical accompaniment from a harpist with the bride and father of the bride arriving in style on a traditional horse drawn carriage.
Following their civil wedding ceremony, the couple wandered through the Museo’s halls and gardens for photographs whilst their guests mingled in the gardens before leaving for the reception venue.
The reception was held at the stunning Villa Antiche Mura, an elegant villa situated in a cliff top position and offering stunning views of the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius from its two spacious terraces. A short walk from Museo Correale, it's a one of the most sought-after villas for couples wanting to marry in the heart of Sorrento.
On arrival at Villa Antiche Mura guests were greeted with canapés and welcome drinks and were wowed by the spectacular views from the White Infinity Terrace, whilst enjoying traditional music from local musicians playing the guitar and mandolin. Post aperitif the bridal party and guests moved to the Red Infinity Terrace where they were seated for an incredible banquet of local Italian speciality dishes.
The party continued into the late evening with the cutting of the cake, drinks and dancing to a great mix of music played by the DJ.
Thanks to Chanelle and Tom and their fantastic families. Come and see us again soon!
